Soccer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing when I was 5 years old and stayed with it all the way through high school. It’s something I’ve always loved.

When my kids got old enough and showed interest, I jumped into coaching them in our local recreational league. Like most parents, I just wanted them to enjoy it—but over time, something started to stand out.

They began taking private lessons, going to clinics, and putting in extra work… and you could see the difference almost immediately. Their confidence grew, their ability improved, and they started to really love the game on a different level.

After a couple of years, my oldest wanted more. She tried out for a competitive team—and made it. Not long after, my middle child followed the same path.

Watching that progression made something really clear to me:

There’s a gap.

A gap between recreational soccer and competitive soccer.
A gap between kids who just play… and kids who want more.

And more importantly—there’s a lack of a consistent place for kids to train, improve, and get touches on the ball year-round, regardless of weather.

Top Bin Academy was created to fill that gap.

This isn’t meant to replace rec or club soccer—it’s meant to support it.

• A place for recreational players to improve and build confidence 
• A place for competitive players to sharpen their skills 
• A place for kids who simply want more time on the ball 

Everything we do is built around:

• Small group training 
• Structured sessions (not random drills) 
• High repetition and real development 

The goal is simple:
Help players train smarter, play faster, and build the confidence to take the next step—whatever that looks like for them.

We’re building Top Bin Academy the right way—step by step.

Phase 1: Open the Doors
This starts with 20 committed members.
This gives us a dedicated indoor space where training can begin immediately.

Phase 2: Turf Installation
Upgrading to a proper turf surface to improve training quality and consistency.

Phase 3: Facility Expansion
Increasing our space to allow for more players, more programs, and better training flow.

Phase 4: Indoor 5v5 Pitch
A fully enclosed small-sided pitch for leagues, tournaments, and game play.

We are currently working toward Phase 1.

Phase 1 launches at 20 committed members.
